Cashgame ist ziemlich bescheiden gelaufen, aber bin etwas mehr im Plus durch Rakeback und Tourneys. Ich habe vor, nach den Osterfeiertagen richtig reinzuhauen. Dann werde ich auch etwas mehr schreiben, auch mit ein paar tricky hands (hoffentlich :D).

Ich lese gerade Dusty “leatherass” Schmidts Buch “Treat Your Poker Like A Business”. Es geht kaum um Pokerstrategie, eher um alles andere, was das erfolgreiche Pokern angeht. Ist bisher sehr gut.

Lange nicht mehr geschrieben. Das soll sich jetzt wieder ändern. Habe weiterhin gespielt, nicht so viel, weil ich mit anderen Sachen beschäftigt war, aber so viel um Euch auf den neusten Stand zu bringen:

Tourneymäßig habe ich auf Fulltilt ein $26 Donkament für ~$6,5k gewonnen, wurde in einem $109er 2. ebenfalls für $6,5k und in irgend einem anderen 3. für ~$2k. Auf Absolute habe ich ein Deepstack auch für ca. $2k gewonnen.

Außerdem möchte ich nochmal der Luckbox gratulieren, von der ich vor paar Monaten berichtet habe. Er hat das Omaha Sideevent der EPT Berlin gewonnen, wo auch ein sicker Raubüberfall stattfand.

Übrigens habe ich jetzt endlich jemanden, der mit mir den Blog schreibt: ibetbackdoors!

Habe heute so ziemlich alle Turniere gespielt, die es auf Absolute gibt, bin etwas im Plus glaube ich. Ergebnisse kommen morgen oder so.

U.a. habe ich auch das $200K GTD gespielt und an meinem Tisch saß Lacey Jones (s. Bild), ihrerseits Pro bei Absolute.

Sie spielt im Moment die Fulltilt Latenight Poker Show und ist im Final Heat. Wenn ein guter Spot kommt und sie gecallt wird, wenn sie die beste Hand hält, wird sie “lol you called” sagen. Zumindest hat sie es fast schon versprochen. ;) Hier die Log. Es wäre brutal lustig! :D

Just my 2 cents: Tilt

Jeder kennt es. Man flopt Topset, freut sich, dass der Fisch shipt und er runnert sich einen Flush.

„ALDER, WAS EIN HURENSOHN!“

Man rebuyt und versucht zwanghaft, Pots gegen den Fisch zu gewinnen und fängt an, große Fehler, schlechte Bluffs und miese Bets zu machen. Und so geht das dann weiter, bis man entweder broke ist oder den Monitor eingeschlagen hat. ;)

Viele Spieler fragen sich, wie man Tilt unterbinden oder ganz verhindern kann. Es gibt massig Bücher und Threads auf 2+2. Nicht, dass ich alle der dort beschriebenen Methoden für schlecht erachte (tbh, ich habe SEHR wenige gelesen :D), aber bisher habe ich noch keinen Ansatz gesehen, der sagt: „Tilt ist gut und man sollte ihn sogar unterstützen!“

Ich verstehe Tilt als den Frust, die Wut und die Agression, die man entwickelt, wenn man Beats bekommt. Tilt bzw. diese Stimmung wirkt sich dann negativ auf das eigene Spiel aus. Man callt z.B. 100bb am Turn mit einem Flushdraw, weil „man ja stuck ist und es schnell wieder reinholen muss“.
Meiner Meinung nach ist es nicht schlecht sich aufzuregen, Villains Mutter als Hure zu bezeichnen und eventuell mal irgendwas an die Wand zu knallen. Schlecht ist es nur, wenn sich diese Wut dann auf`s Spiel auswirkt. Und das wird sie definitiv bzw. erst recht, wenn man sie nicht vorher rauslässt.

Ich hatte früher auch etwas größere Probleme mit Tilt. Sobald ich mal 400bb down gegangen bin, musste ich direkt höher spielen o.ä. Irgendwann sagte ich mir dann, dass ich mich nicht mehr aufregen würde und einfach ganz gechillt weiter spiele. Paar Sessions so probiert und es wurden schnell mehr als 400bb. Ich war auf noch viel größerem Tilt, weil ich zwanghaft versucht habe, meinen Tilt zu unterbinden bzw. zu verhindern.

Also habe ich wieder angefangen, abzukacken. ;)

Das aber mit einem Unterschied: Als ich nach paar Momenten fertig war mit Aufregen, habe ich mir klargemacht, dass ich meine Agressionen nun rausgelassen hatte und mir die Frage gestellt, ob es noch +EV-Sinn macht, an diesem Tisch weiterzuspielen. Je nachdem habe ich dann weiter gespielt oder eben nicht. Das Entscheidene war dabei, dass mir das Quiten wirklich sehr viel einfacher gefallen ist, nachdem ich meinen Tilt quasi „rausgelassen“ habe.

Klar, manchmal tilte ich immernoch, auch wenn’s ein ganz „schwacher“ ist. Aber die „Verwundbarkeit“, was Tilt angeht, hängt auch von ganz anderen Faktoren ab, als nur Poker & Beats (Tageslaune z.B.).

Aber seitdem ich mir das immer so klar mache und mich wirklich bewusst aufrege und es wie gesagt „einfach rauslasse“, ohne dabei großartig daran zu denken, dass ich ja gerade tilte etc., dann ist es für mich sehr sehr viel einfacher, danach ruhig und vor allem gut weiterzuspielen oder problemlos aufzuhören.

Und seien wir mal ehrlich: Ist es nicht eigentlich unlogisch, dass wir uns aufregen? Wenn wir Topset geflopt haben und das Middlepair und den Backdoorflushdraw vom Villain sehen könnten, dann wollen wir doch unbedingt, dass er’s reinschiebt! Wir wissen doch alle, dass man manchmal nunmal Beats bekommt, trotzdem aber damit Geld macht. Offensichtlich nicht short-, aber long-term.

Dies soll keine Anleitung zum tiltlosen Spiel sein. Ich denke, da muss jeder für sich selbst herausfinden, wie er am Besten damit umgeht. Wie gesagt; Just my 2 cents.
